Hi, how's it confidence going? You're starting to feel some changes in the way you feel and you move and you intimate when you're speaking. So, in the previous two sessions, we have worked with improving and giving you a heightened sense of self confidence that will allow you to express yourself more freely and resonantly. Right, we learned that you must become familiar with getting out of your comfort zone, because every learning happens outside of your comfort zone. So I invite you to make a strong commitment. To do at least one thing every day, that takes you out of your comfort zone.

Now, don't do anything dangerous. Getting out of your comfort zone can be as simple as telling the lady in the store to have a nice day and give an extra big smile If you don't usually do that. Right, it can be whatever you want. That makes you feel a little uncomfortable, and that you have to take a strong decision to do it, even if your heart is beating a little bit faster. So get out of your comfort zone at least once a day. Would you do that commitment for me?

Awesome. We have also be working on your body language on the expressiveness and intonation that your body transmits while you're saying words with your mouth and by the way, the impact donation of your body, their body language and the intonation of your voice are part of the same thing. If you feel confident, if you feel secure when you're speaking, you will notice that your body moves more freely, and that during donations are more profound, more lively. If you're nervous and insecure, you'll notice that you'll feel more paralyzed and that your intonation is more stable or robotic, right, you cannot improvise and leave and excite people so much with your voice. So, feeling comfortable and confident are some of the best things you can do for your English communication. Okay, so how can you get out of your comfort zone basically every day?

How can you increase your confidence, talking to people in English? How can you increase this sense of security that you have have when you're using your voice and your body to communicate with people that might intimidate you a little bit, or that you might not know, or that have a super high position and make them look a little bit terrifying? Well, the only solution is to get familiar, talking to anyone. That's it. If you start opening up to people in English and also in your own language in other countries, but also in your own city, everything will improve, your social skills will become polished and refined and oiled up so that every time you see a person, the natural reaction that you will have is to smile. You're happy to connect with them and feel absolutely no tension.

When you start speaking to them. On the contrary, you'll find sense of excitement just before you start the conversation. Now, here's the way you will practice this confidence when talking to people. Today, or tomorrow depends on what time it is. Your goal is to say hi to five strangers. That's it.

Now let's add a little bit more to it. Every time you say hi to a stranger, try to say it with a different tone of voice with a different expression. All of them positive, but experiment with different variations. This is something that you need to try in front of other people in front of strangers. Because if you practice in front of the mirror, there's no authenticity. I mean, you will be able to speak and use different accents or tones or intonation or movements.

But it will not be authentic. Because when you're looking at the mirror, you're just feeling yourself. But when you look at the eyes of another person, something weird happens, doesn't it? you kind of look into their soul. While they're looking at yours. You'll find that you're in donations, the words the movements and the feelings that you get when you're talking to the eyes of another person.

And when you're talking to yourself in the mirror or to anybody, are completely different things to other people are important in this step. You cannot just do it by yourself. So go out to the street, go to the store. When the lady is charging you for your products, just say thank you, or Hi. The guy you see in the street when you go out, say hi again, tie in a different way. Always SmiLe Always have a positive Body language and facial expression and see what happens.

After you finish this, take it to the next level. For the next few days, I really encourage you to start making conversations with strangers at any opportunity you have. If you have nothing to say if you get tense, because you don't know where to take the conversation or how to start it, or just say hi. Another tip is just give a simple comment or a simple question. And finish with Thank you. You have been so helpful.

Have a good day. Right? Yesterday, for example, I was in a store I was buying quotes, and the lady from the store helped me put our combination together and outfit together that I really loved. But what caught my attention particularly About this girl is that every time she finished saying something, or while she was listening to me, she had this huge smile on her face. I was just enamored by her. As soon as I realize how she smiled, it's a warm surrounding sound that makes me want to keep talking to her, makes me feel connected to her.

So, learning this lesson, when I finished my purchases, again, I just said, Well, you know what, thank you so much. And I need to know your name because you have the biggest smile that I have seen in a long time. See, if you feel comfortable doing these type of comments, go ahead. If you don't feel comfortable saying these kind of things, more particularly, go ahead. Get out of your comfort zone and start making nice comments to people. Don't make You're comfortable for them, right?

Say comments that are decent and respectful, but at the same time that appreciate who the other person is. This way you will never run out of things to say. Okay, now one last exercise to connect all of these body language and confidence with your English specifically. Let's make a deal you and i right now. From now on, every time that you see a foreigner, you will talk to them. Now, you have to make sure that it's a relevant and pertinent occasion, right?

If people are having a very important conversation in a restaurant in front of you, you will not interrupt them just to talk and practice your English. So be careful and try to find the moments and the situations where you can just go and make a quick comment for a few seconds, have a minute or two minute conversation before you close it and say it was great meeting you. Bye. So this is what we'll do. From now on. Every time you go out, and you hear people speaking English and a question and practicing this question with them.

Remember, you're not really practicing your vocabulary, your structure, your pronunciation, etc. You're just practicing, approaching a stranger and using your English, even though you might be feeling really nervous. So remember that the more nervous you feel, the more important it is for you to speak English. Don't coward. Don't push back. If you do it, that's okay.

I mean, don't talk to yourself if you didn't talk to a person because you were terrified. But try to do it next time. Now, a question that I love to ask foreigners because it's safe. They love to answer this question. I learn a little bit about my culture, my country from a different perspective. And it makes me connect with another person with a stranger.

Is this simply approach a person or a group of people when they're speaking English and say, Excuse me, I don't want to bother you. But I would just like to know really quickly. What is your perception so far of my city? Or how do you like my city so far? Or I'm sorry, I would just like to know if there's something about this city that you have found fascinating or exciting. Whatever you want These are good examples.

But you can create any example you want. Just have one key question to ask foreigners visiting your city. And you will always have a way to open a conversation with any person that speaks English. When you're at your city. Can you do that? Now, if you're traveling, if you are the tourist, this is even better, because you have millions of opportunities to keep talking and experimenting with all of these English practices and techniques and tips that we have discussed so far in the course.

A question that I love asking because it helps me It gives me great ideas, to really get to know that culture and a country and a city is to approach anybody in the street that looks as if they leave in that city and say something like, excuse me I would just like to take one minute to ask a quick question. Is that okay? What's a place? That it's not really famous that I absolutely need to go to before I leave and go back to my country? So what place Can you recommend that not all the tourists know about that I should know about your place. Now, after you ask this question, be prepared to see the face of excitement and interest in the people that listen to your question.

Everybody loves to talk about themselves, their city, their experiences and their likes. So they will be more than open to give you some tips and to create basically, a whole tour guide or an itinerary for you prepared by a local, not by a touristic guide. Many Isn't it? Fantastic. You have learned and you're developing several tools that will constantly improve your sense of confidence, security, and strength. Every time you're speaking English.

Keep working on this. Keep meeting new people. Keep speaking to strangers and keep learning how to make another person. Smile, even when they weren't expecting meeting you or talking to you. Have fun. And I'll see you next time for level eight of transform your English.

Until then, I hope you stay well.
